About The Position

The Undergraduate Human Resources Intern will support HR operations at PNNL. As an intern, the ideal candidate will use their education and knowledge to support HR projects, business operations, records management, and other duties. Interns in this position will contribute to PNNL’s goals within the Human Resources (HR) Directorate. You will be mentored by PNNL staff to obtain experience in human resources, business operations, records management, and other opportunities. Interface with PNNL staff and management as needed to successfully complete work activities Contribute to the mission of PNNL Provide excellent customer service through clear, professional verbal and written communication with internal stakeholders Review various types of paper files to determine completeness and accuracy; then scan documents to an electronic records system to ensure HR compliance with records management requirements Support day-to-day operations in across HR Assist with identifying operational improvements that enable more effective and efficient business operations

Requirements

  • Candidates must have a high school diploma /GED or higher
  • Candidates must be degree-seeking undergraduate students enrolled at an accredited college or university
  • Candidates must be taking at least 6 credit hours and have an overall cumulative GPA of 2.50

Nice To Haves

  • Entering 2nd year or higher of undergraduate studies
  • Interest in Organizational Science or Human Resources careers
  • Experience working in complex organizations
