  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Foundational coursework in electrical design, analog and digital electronics, or hardware systems.
  • Exposure to one or more programming or scripting languages, such as Python.
  • Familiarity with Linux-based development or lab environments.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a technical team environment.
  • Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn.
  • This role is not eligible for candidates requiring VISA sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework or academic project experience in electrical design, circuit analysis, or hardware/component evaluation.
  • Exposure to hardware bring-up, board-level debug, or system integration.
  • Interest in product development processes or cross-functional engineering coordination.
  • Exposure to data analysis, scripting, or automation through coursework or projects.
  • Strong interest in data center storage, SSD technology, or hardware/electronic systems.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with design, evaluation, and debug of hardware subsystems and components.
  • Support schematic review, board-level bring-up, and hardware/firmware interaction analysis.
  • Support new product development activities from concept through design, prototyping, and release.
  • Help track technical inputs, product requirements, and project milestones across engineering disciplines.
  • Help analyze component and system-level test data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Use or help develop scripts and tools (e.g., Python) to automate data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, validation, and product engineering.
  • Help document designs, test methods, and project deliverables.

Benefits

  • Work on meaningful projects tied to real data center SSD products and engineering priorities.
  • Gain hands-on experience with hardware engineering and product development workflows.
  • Learn how high-performance storage products move from concept through hardware design and release.
