About The Position

This is a student employment position for an Undergraduate Admissions Student Ambassador. The role involves engaging prospective students, families, and counselors during campus tours, promoting the Quinnipiac community, and performing office tasks such as answering phones and filing. The position requires a willingness to learn new technology and involves significant walking around campus in all weather conditions. Students will be required to give a mock tour to a senior student ambassador before hiring.

Requirements

• Ideal candidates will have at least one semester of enrollment at Quinnipiac, though incoming first-year & transfer students are encouraged to apply
• Possess knowledge of the different areas of the Quinnipiac community and its offerings
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn new technology
• Must be available to work several weekends including 3-4 large-scale events each semester
• Be available to work 3-5 hours weekly during business hours: Monday through Friday 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.
