Requirements

  • Expected completion of one year of study from an accredited college or university prior to the internship commencing.
  • Expected continued enrollment in an accredited college or university following the internship program.
  • Student must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship program.
  • Must be available to work a part-time schedule.
  • 18 years or older.
  • Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s Degree program from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. for the duration of this program.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree concentration(s) in Engineering or Life Sciences.
  • Previous experience in biology lab.
  • Prior work or volunteering experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross functional teams.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, Smartsheet, Tableau).
  • Good communication skills and writing skills.
  • Analytical thinking.
  • Proactiveness.
  • Project Management Experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work as a Manufacturing Associate in the Drug Substance (DS)/Drug Product (DP) Technical Operations within the Manufacturing Clinical Supply Organization.
  • Be responsible for an improvement project and exposed to a dynamic clinical manufacturing environment.
  • Work across multiple subject areas, including Process Development, Facilities & Engineering, and Manufacturing to execute a diverse portfolio of projects.
  • Execute problem solving, root cause analysis and data visualization.
  • Leverage standard Continuous Improvement principles to devise new solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize workflows and protocols to increase throughput in the manufacturing process.
  • Evaluate procedural improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct production floor testing, including coordination amongst multiple teams and disciplines.
