About The Position
Bruin Waste Management dba Elite Recycling & Disposal is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Under CDL Driver / Laborer to support daily operations in their waste and recycling division. This position combines driving responsibilities with hands-on labor and customer service. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, and enjoys working outdoors in a team-oriented environment.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds regularly.
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and attendance record.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous driving, labor, construction, landscaping, sanitation, or related experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles that do not require a CDL.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Assist with waste, recycling, and debris collection activities.
- Load, unload, and transport materials as required.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with customers and the public.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate route and service records.
- Assist with facility, equipment, and site cleanup as needed.
- Work effectively with supervisor and team members to complete daily assignments.
