About The Position

Ventus Executive Solutions is seeking a skilled Unconventional Computing Technical SETA to support one or more innovative program offices. You will support efforts aimed at achieving orders-of-magnitude improvements in computational speed and energy efficiency through analog and hybrid analog-digital computing approaches. This work spans multiple scientific disciplines including computer science, electrical engineering, materials science, quantum physics, biology, and advanced computational architectures. You will provide technical expertise, program management support, stakeholder engagement, and transition planning while assisting the Program Manager with program execution, performer oversight, technology assessments, and strategic planning activities. You will possess a strong technical background in emerging computing technologies, nonlinear problem solving, optimization techniques, generative AI, and large-scale processing algorithms. Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience supporting advanced technology research and development programs.
  • Experience in project management, technical program execution, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Experience conducting technical assessments, risk analyses, and program reviews.
  • Knowledge of unconventional computing concepts, advanced computational architectures, or related emerging technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including technical briefings and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and short-turnaround tasks.
  • U.S. Citizenship required

Nice To Haves

  • TS/SCI preferred
  • Experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, or other federal R&D organizations.
  • Experience with analog computing, hybrid analog-digital systems, photonic computing, quantum-inspired computing, synthetic biology, nonlinear materials, or related technologies.
  • Familiarity with large language models and AI-enabled analytical tools.
  • Experience supporting proposal evaluations, research solicitations, and performer management activities.
  • Experience developing integrated master schedules, technical risk models, and transition plans.
  • Experience supporting Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) efforts.
  • Experience coordinating with the Intelligence Community, Department of Energy, Department of Commerce, military services, or international partners.
  • Experience organizing and participating in program reviews, site visits, and field tests.
