Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Officer - Pacoima, CA
About The Position
Patrol Solutions is seeking an Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Officer for a county flood-control facility in Pacoima and Sun Valley. This part-time position involves patrolling facilities by vehicle and on foot, checking gates, fencing, and equipment, writing daily activity and incident reports, and responding to alarms and incidents. The role requires providing professional and courteous service to county staff. Qualified applicants without a guard card may receive a conditional offer and will need to complete BSIS training and apply for a guard card. The start date is contingent upon guard card issuance.
Requirements
- Must be 21 or older (required by our insurance for driving positions)
- Valid California BSIS Guard Card, or willing to get one before your first shift
- Baton permit, pepper spray certification and CPR/First Aid before your first shift
- Valid California driver's license with a clean 3-year driving record
- Reliable transportation to Pacoima
- Able to write clear reports in English and use a smartphone for daily activity reports
Nice To Haves
- Drivers under 23 need an additional insurance review, which can take several weeks.
