About The Position

Extrity Services delivers unarmed and armed security solutions with a focus on emotional intelligence, de-escalation, and a positive company culture. We emphasize operational excellence, high standards, and attention to detail to create environments where people feel safe and valued. The Unarmed Security Professional, reporting to the Site Supervisor, Field Supervisor, or Regional Manager, enforces security protocols, conducts patrols, monitors premises, responds to incidents, documents events, and supports investigations while maintaining professionalism and adherence to company standards.

Requirements

Active, clear PERC card.
20-hour security training certification.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills; ability to de-escalate tense situations and remain calm and professional.
Experience with patrols, surveillance, and incident management.
Knowledge of security equipment and access control procedures.
Understanding of emergency protocols and the ability to perform under pressure.
Familiarity with identification verification.
Excellent report-writing skills, attention to detail, and commitment to confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of first aid and CPR is a plus (not required).

Responsibilities

Maintain a professional appearance and follow the company dress code.
Arrive on time and be punctual for assigned shifts.
Interact courteously and professionally with clients, visitors, and colleagues.
Enforce access control and accurately maintain records.
Conduct regular patrols and surveillance to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor and report on security equipment functionality.
Respond to incidents promptly and follow established procedures.
Accurately document incidents and prepare detailed reports.
Assist investigations by providing timely information and truthful data, including incident and shift reports.
