About The Position

Extrity Services is seeking dependable, professional, and customer-focused individuals to join its growing security team in Cincinnati. This position is currently designed as a Flex Security Professional role, providing coverage when team members are unavailable while offering opportunities for additional shifts and future growth. As operations continue to expand, this position is expected to evolve into a regularly scheduled assignment with increased hours. The current guaranteed schedule includes Thursday from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Friday from 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and Saturday from 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM. This position may be offered additional shifts as business needs arise and is expected to transition into a more permanent assignment with expanded hours as client staffing needs continue to grow. As an Unarmed Security Professional, you'll help maintain safe, secure, and welcoming environments while serving as a trusted representative of Extrity Services and its clients.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Willing to complete fingerprinting for the Ohio PISGS Unarmed Security License
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to prepare clear and accurate reports and documentation

Nice To Haves

• Previous security experience
• Patrol or surveillance experience
• Knowledge of access control procedures
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
• First Aid certification
• CPR certification
• Customer service experience
• Hospitality experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of assigned properties
• Monitor facilities and report suspicious activity
• Enforce access control procedures
• Respond professionally to incidents and emergencies
• Complete detailed incident and activity reports
• Monitor security equipment and report concerns
• Assist with investigations when necessary
• Observe and document unusual occurrences
• Maintain a professional and approachable presence
• Provide outstanding customer service to clients, employees, and visitors
• Support a safe and positive environment at all times
• Utilize de-escalation techniques to help prevent and resolve conflicts
