About The Position

This is a part-time position for an Unarmed Security Officer working weekends (Saturday-Sunday) in Carteret, NJ. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour. A TWIC Card is required, and if you do not have one, you will need to obtain it. This role offers daily pay, with payment available as soon as the next day. The position requires the use of a company vehicle, and applicants must pass a Department of Motor Vehicles check. All applicants must be over 21 years old and possess a valid driver's license. Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Basic computer skills and report-writing experience
• Available to work shifts during nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to handle stressful situations and emergencies
• Driver's License (Required)
• Active Security License
• TWIC card (Required)
• Must be able to pass a Department of Motor Vehicles check
• High school or equivalent (required)

Nice To Haves

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Security: 1 year (Preferred)
• Military or LEO experience is always preferred as well

Responsibilities

• Access Control
• Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions that may endanger the client, its associates, or public safety
• Patrol assigned on foot to maintain visibility and observe possible unusual activities at client facilities
• Theft and vandalism deterrence
• Ensure the client, its associates, and facility personnel are provided with a safe and professional work environment
• Ensure that daily administrative documentation is always kept concise and complete
• Uniform attire and grooming standards must be maintained while in uniform
• Perform other related duties as required
