Requirements

• Valid Florida Class D Security License.
• Previous security experience required; HOA, condominium, residential, or gatehouse experience strongly preferred.
• Computer proficient and comfortable using email, digital reporting systems, and basic security technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours.
• Strong customer-service skills.
• Must be able to follow written post orders and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access through the property gatehouse.
• Conduct routine security patrols throughout the property.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems.
• Verify residents, guests, vendors, and authorized visitors.
• Maintain accurate visitor and security logs.
• Prepare detailed daily activity and incident reports.
• Respond professionally to resident and guest concerns.
• Enforce property rules, regulations, and post orders.
• Maintain a professional appearance and excellent customer-service standards.
• Communicate effectively with property management and SMI leadership.
• Remain alert and attentive throughout the overnight shift.
