About The Position

Coastal Security Services, Inc. (CSSI) is continuously hiring Unarmed Security Officers for client sites in Mount Pleasant and the greater Charleston area, including gated residential communities and commercial sites. This is an ongoing hiring posting rather than a single opening. Candidates who clear screening are placed when a post matches their license, location, and availability; eligible candidates who are not immediately placed remain on file for future openings. Posts involve controlling access, patrolling buildings and grounds, monitoring security systems, responding to incidents and emergencies, writing reports, and maintaining a professional presence. Sites operate 24/7/365. Shift lengths and rotations vary by post and may include 8- or 12-hour shifts during days, evenings, or overnights. Full-time and part-time schedules are available, and weekend availability is required for most posts. Hourly pay is post-based and ranges from $18.00 to $20.25, depending on the assigned site. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times the regular rate for hours over 40 in a work week. CSSI offers training through its Training Academy at no cost and a growth path into site supervisor, field coordinator, and district leadership roles.
