About The Position

Doyle Security Services (DSS) is currently looking for UNARMED SECURITY OFFICERS in Farmingdale, NY. This position involves patrolling properties, monitoring surveillance equipment, and ensuring the security of premises and personnel. The role requires completing detailed reports, documenting observations, and interviewing witnesses. Officers will also be responsible for informing violators of policies and procedures and performing tasks assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

Valid NYS Security Guard License
Valid Driver's License
High School Diploma / GED required.
5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required.
Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form.
Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.

Responsibilities

Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
