About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Concierge Security Officer for a customer-service-focused security post in New Orleans, Louisiana. The officer will work with people in settings such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers, building connections and helping visitors feel reassured. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., for 40 hours per week, at $15.15 per hour. A security license is required. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process, including a background check and drug screening after an offer of employment.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Have basic phone and computer skills.
• Hold a state security license if required; the posting also states that a security license is required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and provide directions or guidance.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.

• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
