About The Position

Security Dynamics Corp. is seeking several Unarmed Security Officers for their South Holland, Illinois location. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong sense of responsibility, sound judgment, and professionalism, who take their work seriously. The company operates on a law enforcement standard of conduct and is composed of active and retired law enforcement officers, military veterans, firefighters, and career security professionals. Openings are immediate.

Requirements

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. SDC does not sponsor employment visas.
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum age of 21 at time of hire
Possess a valid Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) at time of hire, or qualify for a statutory exemption under Illinois law
No felony convictions in any jurisdiction and no crimes of moral turpitude (sex offender registration is an absolute bar to employment)
Pass a pre-employment background investigation and online assessment
Complete all required training prior to assignment

Nice To Haves

College degree preferred
Operational experience in the United States military
Active or retired firefighters
Active or retired police officers
Extensive security experience

Responsibilities

Direct and control traffic when circumstances require
Provide first aid to individuals requiring emergency medical assistance
Identify and investigate suspicious persons, vehicles, or circumstances
Take custody of stolen, lost, or found property and forward it to the appropriate authority
Assist the client with crime prevention initiatives and problem response
Prepare written reports and other required documentation
Complete all required training courses and certification programs
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Work cooperatively with teammates and provide professional guidance through example
