About The Position

Patrol Solutions is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for a vehicle patrol position in Mission Hills, CA. This role is responsible for patrolling facilities, detecting unauthorized activities, and ensuring the safety of employees and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong awareness of their environment, be able to respond to emergency situations, and maintain a professional demeanor. This is a full-time position with a specific shift schedule.

Requirements

Must possess a current BSIS Guard Card.
Must possess a current BSIS Baton Permit
Must possess a current Pepper Spray Certification
Must possess a current CPR / First Aid Certification
Must have a valid California Driver's License with 3 years of a clean record, no suspensions or revocations from anytime.
Access control experience
Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods of time
Ability to read, write and understand and carry out written orders, policies, procedures, and instructions.
Ability to write and understand English
Demonstrate a positive attitude, outstanding customer service skills, and take the initiative in completing assigned tasks.
Willing to accept shift work, weekends, holidays, and overtime if needed.
Reliable transportation
Friendly and professional demeanor
Able to pass a drug test and background check
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Possess and maintain a valid State Guard Registration (guard card)
Conduct foot patrols alone.
Patrol and maintain general security of assigned property as described in Post Orders / SOP.
Utilize a smartphone or similar device to maintain a Daily Activity Report, and create Incident and Facility Maintenance Reports.
Maintain consistent performance, attendance, uniform appearance, and professional grooming.
Maintain professional communications with clients, colleagues, and the public.
Respond to emergency calls, including medical, fire, and damage to property.
Protect organization’s facilities.
Maintain an awareness of the environment and ensure the safety of employees and visitors.
Prevent theft, damage, or injury in the organization.
