Unarmed Security Officer
About The Position
Palisade Defense Security is seeking professional, reliable, and customer-service-oriented Unarmed Security Officers to join our growing team. Officers are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, tenants, and visitors while providing exceptional customer service and professionalism. The ideal candidate is dependable, observant, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. This position may require standing, walking patrols, monitoring property access, completing reports, and responding to incidents as needed. Applicants with an active Nevada PILB Security Guard Work Card and open availability are strongly encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid Nevada Driver's License.
- Must have a clean driving record that can be verified.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must possess a valid Nevada PILB Security Guard Work Card.
- Must be able to pass a background screening.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Valid Nevada PILB Security Guard Work Card.
- Valid Nevada Driver's License.
- Clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous security, military, law enforcement, customer service, or related experience.
- Experience with surveillance systems and access control systems.
- CPR/First Aid Certification.
Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned properties and maintain a visible security presence.
- Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel gain access.
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, gates, and access points.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and security systems.
- Respond promptly to suspicious activity, disturbances, or emergencies.
- Remove unauthorized individuals or trespassers when necessary.
- Prepare accurate Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and Incident Reports.
- Report safety hazards, security concerns, and incidents to management.
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor.
