About The Position

Burr Security services a variety of areas, such as schools, government and public facilities, manufacturing plants, financial institutions, retail centers and more! This position is for a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer at Bishop International Airport in Flint, MI. The schedule involves 3 various days, 4 hours per day, totaling 12 hours per week, with shifts varying and schedules provided 60 days in advance. The wage is $18.50/hour, with the option of DailyPay service.
Requirements
- 6+ months security experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to follow basic verbal and written instructions
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Reliable transportation and a valid ID
Responsibilities
- Wanding airport employees at various entrance points.
- Monitor grounds and facility for suspicious activity
- Monitor all persons entering/leaving facility
- Maintain organizations' stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements
- Be alert and aware at all times
- Have great customer service skills
- Secure premises and personnel by permitting entry, and inspecting access points
- Complete other job duties as assigned
