About The Position

Doyle Security Services (DSS) is currently looking for UNARMED SECURITY OFFICERS for a Museum in Queens, NY. This role requires a high level of Customer Service, while performing duties as a security officer at a standing post for extended periods. The specific location is Astoria, with shifts from Wednesday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and a pay rate of $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

High School Diploma / GED required.
5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required.
Valid NYS Security Guard License.
High level of customer service.
This position requires the ability to stand for long periods.
Must have a valid driver license.
Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form.
Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.

Responsibilities

Responsible for monitoring and reporting activities and incidents at the assigned client site to ensure the safety and security of personnel and property.
Conducts regular foot patrols and completes scans.
Maintains order and enforces site-specific regulations and directives related to personnel, visitors, and the premises.
Securing premise inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
