About The Position

Marksman Security is seeking Unarmed Security Officers for the Montgomery, AL area. This role is responsible for deterring criminal activity, protecting property, and enforcing rules on a property. Officers may monitor surveillance cameras and alarms, patrol areas, perform security checks, and provide protection for equipment and workers. Specific positions include Rover (patrolling for suspicious behavior), Gatehouse (controlling access and greeting visitors), and Front Desk (customer service, access control, and monitoring CCTV). Requirements

At least 21 years of age or older
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid state licensing, is mandatory
Valid Driver's License
Valid CPR
Strong customer service skills
Familiarity with report writing
Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks

Nice To Haves

Computer Skills is a plus
Monitoring and surveillance experience
Previous security experience is not required however is a PLUS!

Responsibilities

Deter criminal activity, protect property, and enforce rules.
Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
Patrol areas and conduct security checks.
Provide protection for equipment and workers.
Check credentials of vehicles and individuals.
Perform foot or vehicle patrols to detect suspicious behavior and prevent vandalism, thefts, or other criminal behavior.
Greet residents and guests with a friendly demeanor, check identification, log visitor vehicles, announce visitors, and control access to the property.
Acknowledge and greet all guests with courtesy and urgency, provide customer service, and monitor CCTV camera systems.
Distribute packages.
