About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and observant Unarmed Security Officer to join our team for the 2nd shift. This role is crucial for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our facilities, employees, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for controlling access, monitoring premises, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with security protocols. This position offers a competitive hourly wage with a shift differential and is a key part of our security operations.

Requirements

• Six months to 1 year of relevant experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in English are required.

Nice To Haves

• New York State Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Control access to company facilities, including logging visitors and escorting terminated associates.
• Monitor and log vehicle traffic entering and exiting the premises.
• Answer and direct phone calls after business hours, handling inquiries as needed.
• Perform patrol rounds to ensure security and safety compliance.
• Assist with emergency responses and contact appropriate agencies as required.
• Operate and monitor video surveillance systems and maintain activity logs.
• Verify truck/trailer deliveries and log details into the MMS system.
• Open or close the facility as needed, including alarm and keypad procedures.
