This role requires the ability to travel to numerous sites with no set shifts or schedule. The officer will observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. The role involves making periodic tours to check for irregularities, preserving order, and enforcing regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of the workday.

Requirements

Valid Florida Class D Security Guard License
Must be at least 21 years of age
Minimum High School Diploma / GED
Must be able to understand the English language and communicate it effectively in both the verbal and written form
Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
Must be able to work flexible shifts, holidays and weekends
Customer Service Experience is required

Responsibilities

Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
