About The Position
We are currently hiring Unarmed Union Security Officers to provide professional security services in Washington, DC. This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with various shifts available, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Union dues will be discussed during the interview.
Requirements
- Valid DC Security Officer license
- Prior security experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Must be able to pass required background screening
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and clients
- Monitor entrances, exits, and assigned areas
- Conduct security patrols and inspections
- Monitor CCTV and security systems when assigned
- Respond professionally to incidents and emergencies
- Prepare detailed incident and activity reports
- Enforce site policies and procedures
- Provide excellent customer service
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
