As a Security Officer Experienced Patrol Duty in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Meet client requirements for a tuberculosis test and MMR vaccinations.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Must have clean background
  • Must have 1 year of security experience within the last 3 years with an active guard card
  • Must have a high school diploma, or GED or Official transcripts

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and other security-related policies at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or potential hazards.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas to help support authorized access, observe site activity, and document security-related concerns in accordance with post instructions.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations, and assist with emergency response activities as directed by site procedures.
