About The Position

Doyle Security Services (DSS) is currently seeking an UNARMED SECURITY OFFICER / Floater for the Fort Lauderdale area. This position offers a pay rate of $19.00 per hour and has floater shifts available. The role involves securing premises and personnel through patrolling, monitoring surveillance equipment, and inspecting buildings and access points.

Requirements

Valid Florida Class D Security Guard License
Must be at least 21 years of age
Minimum High School Diploma / GED
Must be able to understand the English language and communicate it effectively in both the verbal and written form
Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
Must be able to work flexible shifts, holidays and weekends
Customer Service Experience is required

Responsibilities

Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property
Monitoring surveillance equipment
Inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points
Permitting entry
Reporting irregularities
Informing violators of policy and procedures
Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
Interviewing witnesses
Obtaining signatures
Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager
