The Security Officer will observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client sites, ensuring the security and safety of property and personnel. Responsibilities include conducting periodic tours to check for irregularities, maintaining order, and enforcing site regulations for personnel, visitors, and premises. The position requires the physical ability to stand for the majority of the workday.

Requirements

Valid Florida Class D Security Guard License
Must be at least 21 years of age
Minimum High School Diploma / GED
Must be able to understand the English language and communicate it effectively in both verbal and written form
Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
Must be able to work flexible shifts, holidays and weekends
Customer Service Experience is required

Responsibilities

Reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures.
Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry.
Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities, interviewing witnesses, and obtaining signatures.
Performing tasks assigned by a supervisor or manager.
