About The Position

Doyle Security Services (DSS) is seeking UNARMED and ACTIVE/RETIRED LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS for a TEMP- 8 Day Security event, The Belmont Stakes in Saratoga. All shifts are available for this temporary position.

Requirements

• Must be ACTIVE or Retired Law Enforcement or have a valid N.Y.S. UNARMED Guard license.
• Ability to be an effective team member.
• Must be able to stand and conduct foot patrols.
• Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances.
• Ability to provide high quality customer service.
• Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, at various social levels and across diverse cultures.

Responsibilities

• Preserves order and act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
• Monitor Entry & Exits Points: Access control to hotel entrances, exits, and restricted areas, ensuring only authorized personal, guest and vendors enter the premises.
• Acts to prevent unapproved or unlawful entry during work tour and in a calm manner directs persons who cause a disturbance or unauthorized to leave property.
• Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations and provides direction or information to others.
• All functions, duties or tasks are to be carried out in an honest, ethical, and professional manner, and to be performed in conformance with applicable company policies and procedures. In the event of uncertainty or lack of knowledge of company policies and procedures, employees are required to request clarification or explanations from supervisors or authorized company representatives.
