Premier Protective Security (PPS) is seeking a PART-TIME Unarmed Security Guard in Cartersville, GA. The Security Officer position is crucial for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring and safeguarding premises, including patrolling various locations. Officers preserve order by enforcing regulations and directives for client sites concerning personnel, visitors, and the area. This role may also involve providing customer service and information to clients' employees and customers. Security Officers will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Convenience Store truck stops, Travel Centers, Warehouses, and Truck yards.

Requirements

• Must be actively licensed in GA as an Unarmed Security Guard to be considered.
• Must have previous security experience or equivalent.
• Must be able to stand and walk for entire shift.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Ability to obtain security certification according to the State.
• Ability to pass drug screen.
• Ability to pass background check.
• E-Verification Approval.
• Completion of on-boarding process.
• Approval and interview with assigned site manager.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations.
• Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Actively safeguarding the premises, including, at times, patrolling a variety of locations.
• Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
• Frequently provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers.
