About The Position

Premier Protective Security (PPS) is seeking Unarmed Security Guards for temporary, full-time positions in Celina, TX. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises, patrolling various locations, and preserving order while enforcing regulations. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively safeguarding the premises, including, at times, patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers. As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Convenience Store truck stops, Travel Centers, Warehouses, Truck yards and more.

Requirements

• Must have an active non-commissioned Level 2 Security Guard license in hand to be considered.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• 1 year security experience (Required)

Nice To Haves

• Possess 5 years of verifiable experience (experience required only for Armed Roles)

Responsibilities

• Help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations.
• Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Be vigilant: Seeing, hearing, and evaluating potential risks or incidents that may take place on our customers' premises.
