About The Position

Windwalker Group seeks 2nd and 3rd shift concierge-focused guards for a brand new property in Seaport. We have both full-time and part-time openings available. Windwalker Security Guards will provide a variety of services, including managing visitors at access control points with courtesy, decisiveness, and professionalism. Guards are expected to maintain a resolute professional appearance and demeanor, validate strict compliance with security standards, and interact effectively with local, state police, and DHS. A zero-tolerance policy for non-professional behavior is in effect, with emphasis on effective and transparent employee discipline procedures. High levels of interaction are expected between contract employees, client management, and company managers. Preparedness planning for effective response to potential crises is also a key aspect of the role. Guards will provide high-level customer service to clients through daily interaction with students, staff, faculty, and visitors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to react quickly to a changing environment
• Advanced ability to respond to security breaches and threats.
• Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods of time
• Ability to inform personnel and visitors of security procedures
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and communication skills
• Possess an ability to be flexible and perform a variety of security duties

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role preferred
• Knowledge of security systems and surveillance equipment preferred
• CPR, First Aid, AED, NARCAN, MOAB , or ACT I, II, or III Certifications highly preferred
• Associates degree or greater in Criminal Justice related studies
• Experience in documenting, observations, customer service and security procedures
• Previous concierge experience
