About The Position
The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology is seeking a Per Diem UMMG Staff Physician to provide medical care for neonates admitted to the NICU at Jackson Main. This role involves clinical duties as a Neonatal Attending, including antenatal consultations for high-risk pregnancies, care and stabilization of infants in the delivery room, and daily rounds on patients in different neonatal units. The position also includes teaching responsibilities for residents, fellows, and medical students.
Requirements
- Active Florida Medical License
- Board Certified in Pediatrics
- Board Certification in Neonatology
- BLS
Responsibilities
- Provide medical care for neonates admitted to the NICU as needed.
- Conduct antenatal consultation for high-risk pregnancies.
- Care for and stabilize infants in the delivery room.
- Conduct daily rounds on patients in the different neonatal units.
- Teach residents, fellows, and medical students.
