About The Position
Are you passionate about patient care and precision imaging? Join our dedicated MUSC Lancaster Medical Center team as an Ultrasound Technologist, where your skills help deliver accurate diagnoses and compassionate care every day. This is an employee role, classified as Regular, within the Diagnostic Radiology (LMC) cost center. The position is hourly, with a pay grade of Health-28, and requires 40 hours per week, typically scheduled Monday through Thursday from 2:00 pm to 12:30 am. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Ultrasound Technology program
- ARRT or ARDMS certification (or eligibility to test)
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required

- Advanced ultrasound registration preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound and imaging procedures
- Use professional judgment to ensure safe, accurate, and timely exams
- Provide exceptional patient care before, during, and after procedures
- Recognize patient conditions requiring immediate action and initiate life support measures when necessary
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and fellow technologists
- Participate in on-call imaging services as needed
