About The Position

Join a Patient-Focused Imaging Team Are you an experienced Ultrasound Technologist / Diagnostic Medical Sonographer looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a skilled sonographer who can perform accurate diagnostic ultrasound examinations while providing excellent care to patients of all ages and backgrounds. New graduates are welcome to apply if they meet the board eligibility and Oregon temporary licensing requirements.

Requirements

  • Education sufficient to meet applicable certification, licensing, and registration requirements.
  • Oregon Sonographer License OR Oregon Sonographer Temporary License – required upon hire
  • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS – required upon hire
  • ARDMS certification – required within 6 months (180 days) of hire
  • Clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound.
  • New graduates may be considered if they: Are board eligible for ARDMS certification upon hire. Obtain ARDMS certification within 6 months of hire. Have an OBMI temporary license upon hire. Obtain the required permanent Oregon sonographer license within 6 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of clinical diagnostic ultrasound experience
  • Previous hospital or healthcare imaging experience.
  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic ultrasound procedures and equipment.
  • Excellent patient-care and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to physician orders.
  • Operate and utilize a variety of advanced ultrasound equipment.
  • Produce high-quality, accurate diagnostic images.
  • Adapt imaging techniques based on each patient's condition and needs.
  • Consider special, individual, and age-related patient requirements during examinations.
  • Follow established clinical procedures, safety standards, and departmental protocols.
  • Provide compassionate, patient-focused care throughout each examination.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and members of the healthcare team.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to ultrasound procedures.
  • Support organizational standards for quality, safety, and whole-person care.
