Requirements

Degree from an accredited Medical Imaging Program required.
ARRT or ARDMS certification required.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Current licensure as an Ultrasound Technologist in the state of practice, where applicable

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations using specialized imaging equipment.
Prepare and position patients for procedures while ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity.
Capture high-quality images of organs, tissues, blood vessels, and other anatomical structures.
Evaluate image quality and ensure studies meet diagnostic standards.
Communicate with patients to explain procedures and address questions or concerns.
Assist physicians by providing diagnostic imaging information that supports patient care decisions.
Maintain accurate patient records and examination documentation.
Ensure equipment is functioning properly and report maintenance concerns when needed.
Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and quality assurance standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and patient-focused imaging environment.
