About The Position

Requirements

  • Degree from an accredited Medical Imaging Program required.
  • ARRT or ARDMS certification required.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Current licensure as an Ultrasound Technologist in the state of practice, where applicable

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations using specialized imaging equipment.
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures while ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity.
  • Capture high-quality images of organs, tissues, blood vessels, and other anatomical structures.
  • Evaluate image quality and ensure studies meet diagnostic standards.
  • Communicate with patients to explain procedures and address questions or concerns.
  • Assist physicians by providing diagnostic imaging information that supports patient care decisions.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and examination documentation.
  • Ensure equipment is functioning properly and report maintenance concerns when needed.
  • Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and quality assurance standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and patient-focused imaging environment.
