About The Position

This position is located at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital/MGB in Dover, NH. Full-Time Days: Mon, Wed - Friday, 7:30am - 6:00pm, 40 hours and full benefits. In addition to call rotation. $20k sign on bonus & new minimum rate as of 8/2 of $43.00 which increases with experience! Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, Associate's Degree Diagnostic Medical Sonographer required or Bachelor's Degree Health Sciences preferred
NH Radiologic Technologist and Sonographer State License required
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) required
Basic Life Support (BLS) required
Entry-level candidates welcome up to one year of clinical sonography experience preferred.
Experience working with diverse patient populations and clinical training.
Good communication skills.
Strong patient care skills with the ability to provide compassionate and respectful care to all patients.
Ability to work independently.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree Health Sciences preferred

Responsibilities

Ability to position and support patients and safely using appropriate equipment, and monitor their comfort throughout the exam
Ability to explain examinations clearly, answer questions within the scope
