The Ultrasound Technologist will practice according to entity mandatory requirements, department expectations, and with a customer service approach. This role involves utilizing internal and external resources appropriately, documenting according to guidelines, and effectively managing time. The technologist will set up, adjust, and operate medical equipment, perform testing ordered by a patient's physician, and address the age-specific needs of patients from infants to older adults. Key responsibilities include performing ultrasound procedures, following exam protocols, and maintaining equipment in expert condition. Administrative and other tasks may also be assigned.
