About The Position

Full Time position! 40 hours/week. Excellent Benefits that start day one and free parking. $20,000 Sign On Bonus and min pay rate of $45 per hour which increases w experience! The Sonographer operates Ultrasound Imaging equipment to produce diagnostic ultrasound images of the abdomen, pelvis, fetus, thyroid, breast, scrotum, prostate, extremities, vessels and other procedures for diagnosis of disorders and diseases. Responsible for providing quality patient care while producing ultrasound images and patterns used for patient diagnosis and treatment. The responsibilities also include completing scans effectively and efficiently while maintaining the highest possible standards of patient care to provide the most remarkable patient experience.

Requirements

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in OB/GYN and/or Abdomen, Vascular a plus.
• One year of clinical experience in General, OB/GYN, Small Parts and Vascular Imaging.
• CPR Certification Required.

Nice To Haves

• GE, Siemens experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identity using two identifiers (full name and DOB).
• Review exam orders and clinical history.
• Prepare and clean equipment and rooms; restock supplies as needed.
• Clearly explain procedures, considering patient comfort and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure efficient workflow and scanner use.
• Provide care within the scope of training and licensure.
• Participate in on-call, holiday, and flexible shift coverage as needed.
• Perform ultrasound exams and assist with training staff and students.
• Operate equipment and follow protocols.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.
• Support and participate in departmental research, QA, and improvement projects.
• Conduct research-related ultrasound exams as required.
