About The Position

ImageCare Radiology is seeking a Part-Time Ultrasound Technologist for their Hackettstown location. This role is responsible for providing patients with the best care and experience while working with the entire staff to perform quality ultrasound scans and biopsies. The Ultrasound Technologist will work closely with radiologists to gather medical images and ensure an efficient and patient-focused experience during procedures. The ideal candidate is professional, reliable, compassionate, and experienced in producing quality images for proper treatment and diagnosis by the radiologist. All new hires are required to attend first-day orientation at the Mount Olive office before reporting to their assigned work location or training site.

Requirements

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer License (Required)
BLS Certification (Required)
At least one year working at a hospital experience or working independently is preferred.
Basic vascular knowledge (venous doppler and carotids) and breast ultrasound experience is a plus.
Must be vaccinated with the yearly flu shot and MMR.

Responsibilities

Perform quality ultrasound scans and biopsies.
Work closely with radiologists to gather medical images.
Ensure an efficient and patient-focused experience during procedures.
Perform all Ultrasound exams including General Ultrasound and Ob/Gyn, Vascular, and Breast Ultrasound.
