About The Position
Ultrasound Technologist New York, NY | Per diem – Weekend Coverage Position Summary Hospital for Special Surgery is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. This role focuses on musculoskeletal and general ultrasound, supporting accurate diagnosis and exceptional clinical outcomes.
Requirements
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- RDMS certification required (RVT/MSK preferred)
- BLS certification required
- 1+ year of experience preferred (strong new grads considered)
Nice To Haves
- Musculoskeletal ultrasound experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams (MSK, vascular, general)
- Ensure high-quality image acquisition for physician interpretation
- Provide excellent patient care and ensure safety throughout procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and care teams
- Maintain equipment and adhere to quality and compliance standards
