About The Position

This is a Flex/PRN position to help cover scheduling gaps, with a dedicated shift every other week, guaranteeing 8-12 hours per pay period. The role involves general imaging including abdominal, small parts, GYN, OB (1st, 2nd, and 3rd Trimester), procedures, and pediatrics. The exam load varies, with 25-35 exams in a 24-hour period. The Nampa Ultrasound department prides itself on its unique, collaborative relationship between providers and technologists, a high culture of safety in alignment with system goals, and cross-campus collaboration and standardization. The department is staffed 24/7.

Requirements

Associate degree or experience in lieu of degree.
Current certification in one of the following areas: Abdomen (RDMS-AB), Breast (RDMS-BR), OBGYN (RDMS-OBGYN) from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or Sonography (ARRT-S) from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

Perform general imaging including abdominal, small parts, GYN, OB (1st, 2nd, and 3rd Trimester), procedures, and pediatrics.
Cover scheduling gaps as a Flex/PRN employee.
Participate in holiday call shifts.
Collaborate with providers and technologists.
Adhere to a high culture of safety.
