About The Position

The Ultrasonographer provides diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound on all patient age populations. Diagnostic examinations may be performed on breast, abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological and other areas. The ultrasound professional also assists with various procedures during which ultrasound is utilized. The ultrasonographer is responsible for performing and communicating results of examinations. Requirements

  • Successful completion of Ultrasound training program
  • Education sufficient to meet eligibility requirements to take American Registry of Diagnostic Ultrasonographers (ARDMS) registry examination.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (Upon hire)
  • National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Within 1 year of hire)
  • Experience sufficient to meet eligibility requirements to take American Registry of Diagnostic Ultrasonographers (ARDMS) registry examination.
