About The Position
Are you passionate about patient care and precision imaging? Join our dedicated MUSC Lancaster Medical Center team as an Ultrasound Technologist, where your skills help deliver accurate diagnoses and compassionate care every day. This role involves performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound and imaging procedures, using professional judgment to ensure safe, accurate, and timely exams, and providing exceptional patient care before, during, and after procedures. You will also recognize patient conditions requiring immediate action and initiate life support measures when necessary, and collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and fellow technologists. Participation in on-call imaging services is also required.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Ultrasound Technology program
- ARRT or ARDMS certification (or eligibility to test)
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
Nice To Haves
- Advanced ultrasound registration preferred
Responsibilities
