About The Position

A great hospital located near Lubbock, Texas is seeking a full-time, Ultrasound Technologist to join their team. This role involves positioning patients, adjusting equipment for procedures, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and adhering to departmental policies and protocols. The technologist is also responsible for reporting any mechanical or system problems to the Director.

Requirements

• Has successfully completed an accredited course for national and/or state registry or has successfully gained licensure/certification(s) eligibility through experience.
• ARDMS is required.
• Maintains current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and adjust equipment for each procedure.
• Participate in quality improvement and quality control projects as assigned.
• Aware of incident occurrences within their work area and reports within twenty-four (24) hours to their supervisor using the proper form(s).
• Follow departmental policies and protocols for each exam performed.
• Report any mechanical or system problems to the Director or designee.
