This position is responsible for the independent operation of sonographic equipment and performing diagnostic examinations. Depending on the work location, the Ultrasound Technologist may also oversee daily operations of the sonographic laboratory, manage patient schedules, maintain equipment, report failures, and conduct quality assessment. The sonographer is expected to uphold high ethical standards and continuously enhance their understanding of the field, diseases, and evolving procedures.
