Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
ARDMS certification required (or registry-eligible with certification obtained within designated timeframe)
Current Illinois licensure, if applicable
Strong technical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills with a compassionate, patient-focused approach
Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented clinical environment

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures according to physician orders and established protocols.
Prepare and position patients appropriately while explaining procedures to ensure comfort and understanding.
Capture and document accurate images for interpretation by the radiologist.
Maintain equipment functionality and complete required quality control processes.
Accurately enter patient information into the electronic medical record while ensuring compliance with all regulatory, safety, and confidentiality standards.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow imaging team members to support efficient workflow and timely results.
