We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Ultrasound Technologist to join our team on a PRN or part-time bases to help support outpatient imaging centers in Sherman and Richardson, TX. Position Summary The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
  • RVT and/or ARDMS (AB) and/or OB/GYN certification required
  • State licensure as required

Nice To Haves

  • Current BLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures (e.g., general, vascular, OB/GYN as applicable) in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
  • Ensure proper patient positioning, image acquisition, and quality assurance
  • Provide clear instructions and compassionate care to patients throughout the exam
  • Recognize and document anatomical, pathological, and technical factors to produce high-quality images
  • Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and report any issues promptly
  • Adhere to all safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations
  • Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas
