Under the supervision of the Lead Ultrasound Technologist, this position provides direct patient care services and other related functions in support of the department. The technologist performs independently within the scope of department policies and clinically works at the direction of a qualified Radiologist. This role may involve travel between Marlborough and Nashoba/Groton campuses and has specific float requirements for newly hired staff at UMass Memorial Nashoba Valley. Initial orientation, training, and competency validation for pediatric ultrasound examinations will be conducted at the University Campus, with the primary work assignment remaining at the Nashoba/Groton campus. Additional training or competency assessments may be scheduled at the University Campus as needed.
