About The Position
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiology Technology, either hospital based or college degree program, with advanced training and certification in Ultrasonography, and/or graduate of an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography required.
- Competency in components of sonography practice as appropriate.
- Technical expertise, knowledge of anatomy; safety conscious, manual dexterity, clerical accuracy, verbal ability, communication skills.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Additional registry as a Vascular Technologist (RVT) required
- BLS required
