About The Position
The Ultrasound Technologist, under the direction of the Radiologist, performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures requiring independent judgement, ingenuity, and initiative.
Requirements
- Formal training which is indicated by graduation from an approved ARRT school of radiologic technology
- registration with ARRT
- current Mississippi State license
- graduate from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program with American Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Licensure
Nice To Haves
- One to two years on the job experience as an ultrasound technologist is preferred but not required.
