About The Position

This position is for a student enrolled in a radiology program who will be responsible for performing Radiology clinical work under the supervision of qualified Radiology Technologist AC personnel. The role involves performing procedures, ensuring safe and age-specific clinical work, documenting patient records, providing patient education, and potentially assisting with patient transport, holding/positioning, and room preparation. The position is part-time and requires flu vaccines. Arkansas Children's is a tobacco-free, equal opportunity employer and is a safety-sensitive position.

Requirements

Enrolled in an accredited radiology program.
Entry Level - Experience not Required.

Responsibilities

Performs procedures directly supervised by qualified/licensed/registered AC team members.
Performs and ensures safe, knowledgeable age-specific clinical work appropriate for the department as needed.
Completes documentation of patient records and Quality Control processes as needed.
Provides patient education and responds to patient and customer concerns as needed.
May transport patients to other departments.
May assist with holding/positioning patients as needed.
May prepare and clean exam rooms.
Provides comfort measures as needed.
Utilizes appropriate diagnostic equipment and software as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
